HUUM DROP 6 Review: 6 kW Room Range and Electrical Load
HUUM DROP 6 is a 6 kW wall-mounted heater whose current US manual provides a useful combined view of room range, amperage, breaker and wire size.
Current room range
HUUM’s current US manual lists DROP 6 at 177–318 ft³ on 240V.
Current electrical table
The same table lists 25 A, a 30 A circuit breaker and 10 AWG minimum wire for the 240V DROP 6. Final installation still follows the manual and local code.
Glass adjustment is explicit
HUUM instructs adding 3.3 ft³ of effective room volume per 1 ft² of uninsulated brick, tile or glass wall. That can move a borderline room into a larger heater class.
