JNH Tosi vs HigherDOSE 2-Person Sauna: Electrical Load, Fit & Ownership
These are both two-person infrared cabins, but the electrical project is materially different. JNH currently lists Tosi 2-Person at 120V, 1,540 W and 15 A, while HigherDOSE lists its 2-Person cabin at 120V, 2,250 W and 20 A on a dedicated circuit. That difference can matter more than marketing around heater count.
Electrical load can decide the purchase before features
JNH publishes the Tosi 2-Person at 1,540 W / 15 A. HigherDOSE publishes its 2-Person at 2,250 W / 20 A with dedicated-circuit language. Both are 120V, but they are not the same electrical project. Confirm the exact outlet, circuit and installation manual before ordering.
The HigherDOSE cabinet is larger and heavier
Current published dimensions are roughly 47.3 × 39.5 × 75 in for JNH Tosi 2-Person and 49.6 × 41 × 76.5 in for HigherDOSE 2-Person. Published weights are about 330 lb and 450 lb respectively. Delivery path, floor loading and assembly space should be checked before comparing extras.
Heater architecture is different, not automatically better
JNH and HigherDOSE use different infrared-heater layouts and marketing language. Treat heater type as an equipment characteristic, not proof of a superior health outcome. This site does not rank saunas by detox, cardiovascular, pain or longevity claims.
Use total installed cost
A sauna that costs less at checkout can become more expensive if it requires electrical work, difficult delivery or room changes. Price the cabin, required circuit work, delivery/assembly and any ventilation or flooring preparation as one project.
