Infrared Sauna Electrical Requirements

Infrared cabins span a surprisingly wide electrical range. Check the exact model before assuming it will share an ordinary household circuit.

SaunaVerdicts take: Treat voltage, amperage, wattage and dedicated-circuit language as four separate checks. If the manufacturer says dedicated circuit, plan for one.

15 A 120V examples exist

JNH currently lists the Tosi 2-Person at 120V / 15 A / 1,540 W.

20 A 120V examples are common too

HigherDOSE currently lists its 2-Person full-spectrum sauna at 120V / 2,250 W / 20 A with a dedicated circuit and NEMA 5-20P.

Larger cabins can move to 240V

HigherDOSE currently lists the 3-Person version at 240V / 2,930 W / 15 A on a dedicated circuit with NEMA 6-15P.
