Sauna Breaker Size and Dedicated-Circuit Planning

Breaker sizing is not a place for a universal chart. A calculator can estimate nominal current, but the manufacturer installation instructions and electrical code control the final circuit.

Nominal current is only a first check

Power ÷ voltage gives a basic current estimate for simple resistive loads, but circuit design can include continuous-load rules, conductor conditions and manufacturer instructions.

Manufacturer tables are more useful

HUUM’s current US DROP manual publishes output, amperage, breaker and minimum wire size together. For DROP 6 at 240V, the table lists 25 A, a 30 A breaker and 10 AWG minimum wire.

Different products use different plug strategies

Some infrared cabins use NEMA plugs; many traditional heaters are fixed-wired. Do not convert one configuration into another without manufacturer authorization.
